thanksgiving

Yes I'm that far behind....
I was able to scratch something off my bucket list this Thanksgiving.
Number 10: Host Thanksgiving dinner.
I think it turned out great. I had the help of my dearest Mother and Costa Rica Dad while Auntie Lauren and Greg took care of babies.
It was so cute seeing Lauren with the babies. She is definitely not a baby person but her Auntie instincts kicked in. She was so cute with them and so willing to help so I could get some sleep.

In addition to Thanksgiving we also celebrated my Costa Rica Dad's birthday by going to Red Iguana.
We had a ton of fun while everyone was here. It was horrible seeing them leave. As I'm sure any of you new mothers know. When your mom leaves it sucks. There were quite a few tears, but luckily though my mom is coming out again this next week and Lauren will hopefully come out for her spring break.

first week home

It already makes me sad to look at these pictures and see how much they have grown, time goes by so fast. I am loving every minute of being a mom and Greg is such a great dad!! I was always worried about being exhausted at the end of the day and having to fight with my hubby about taking care of babies cause he has had an exhausting day at work as well, but it hasn't even been an issue, when he gets home  he is so excited see them and take care of them.
I love my little family!

love these babies

K I don't have much time but I wanted to get a little start on catching up. There are so many pictures and things I have wanted to blog about, but just haven't gotten around to it. Here are a few pictures from the past month. My babies are already two months old I can't believe it they are growing up to fast. They say to   constantly be talking to them and playing with them so they start learning, but sometimes I catch myself just staring at them (and maybe sometimes getting teary eyed). I know pathetic, but I just can't enough of them and how blessed I am to be their mom.  They are already not as cuddly as they used to be. Today I was cuddling Jayden really close and squeezing him and he let out this "uhh". "Mom let me breath a little here."
Everyday I have to remind myself to take pictures and video and write down every memory cause they are flying by.
