Creating a Plan

I love brick walls... I think this room is gorgeous and I'm making plans to make our bedroom have a brick wall. I think it is possible. :)

What do you think? Do you think it would look bad, weird?

Look What I Finally Started...

I think they look a million times better black. Now all I need to do is sand the chairs a little, finish the table and get cute new fabric for the chairs. I love working on projects.

My Love for Mantles

I have a new love for mantles!! I want them everywhere in my house. I want one above my bed and in my living room so I can do something like Ashley Ann did here. I'm trying to find a place where I can get used ones and fix them up. Does anyone know where I can find such a place? I love finding new DIY ideas and projects I have such a huge list building up. Now just need to find the materials for cheap,which is so much harder then people make it look.

Stress

So I started the year off great blogging, but then I realized that I better get my butt into gear if I'm going to finish my online classes in time. So I will be missing in action until the end of March. The only reason I am blogging now is because the site is not working...getting a little stressed.

After March though I don't know what I'm going to do with myself. I will be done with school until further plans are made. Its crazy to think I have been going to school for 22 years and its coming to an end, yikes! When I'm bored I go crazy so I'm planning on having a lot of projects. Here are two I can't wait to make.....

I also had to postpone my table project so pictures to come, when I have time to start it.

Remember our Table?

Greg and I bought this table in August and lets face it is kind of ugly, but it has lots of potential. We wanted to paint it and haven't gotten around to it, but I think I'm going to start this weekend. We want to paint anything that is yellow now, black and then get some cute new fabric for the chairs. Since this is my first real paint project I really would like some suggestions....Where to get good deals, how to do it :), cute recommendations for fabrics?

The chairs and table are made out of wood and have a glaze type of thing over the paint so I'm assuming I'm going to need to sand everything before I start, but honestly I have no idea. We also don't want the paint to look perfect, I want it to have a distressed look (see images below) So please if you have any knowledge or know a website you could direct me to I would love it!
