Can't Stop Thinking Babies.

So when I'm bored or just feel like being lazy which is quite frequently these days :) I look up the stuff I'm getting excited to buy for when our babies come cribs, strollers, car seats anything that doesn't depend on their gender. The other day I found the most amazing stroller, the Bugaboo Donkey. It was just released this month and I have a feeling it is probably insanely expensive, but until I know the price this is on the top of my list for strollers. Even if you have two kids of different ages this would be an awesome stroller go check it out here. If any of you have any other strollers you recommend please send me a link!

Just found how much it costs and I was right insane. I was hoping I wasn't right. Drumroll please....$1659 for the twin set.
Bye stroller :(

Easter

Easter was fabulous! Since the Conovers only have one grandbaby that is not able to walk yet, we all get to run around and act like children to find the eggs. This year we had confetti eggs and the rule was you have to smash them on someones head and you can steal an egg from them. It was SO much fun! I ended up getting a hand full of confetti in my mouth :). I love the family I married into, couldn't have made a better choice. Afterwards Val took some Easter pictures for everyone...isn't everyone so cute!!

We also celebrated Ryan's birthday and announced we were having twins. It was an exciting day! Happy Birthday Ryan We Love You!!

We are Pregnant...

...with twins!! We are so excited! I'm due November 26 , but my Dr. said he will not let me go any further then November19th. We are just hoping they stay in until November or October. My friend with twins had hers at 30 weeks so the middle of September. I will be honest I'm a little overwhelmed thinking about becoming a mother and having two kids already, but we are so blessed to have so many people that are wanting to help so I'm sure we will be great. Greg gets two weeks off which I couldn't be happier about.  For now we are just anxious for every Dr. Appointment to be able to make sure they are still growing healthy and strong. At 8 weeks they were measuring great and surprisingly exactly the same. We can't wait to be parents every time we think about it, we get the biggest smiles.
I'm so ready for tons of laundry, grass stains, a noisy house, two little cuties to take pictures of whenever I want, spilled milk, play dough stuck in the carpet, to call Greg dad :)....
Pregnancy so far as been a breeze from what I was expecting. I was feeling nauseous throughout the day for about two weeks, but it has gone away for the most part :). I'm more tired, definitely have to pee more often, which I always thought didn't come until the babies were big. I eat pickles like it is no bodies business. Greg thinks our kids are going to come out smelling like pickles. (he hates pickles, haha)

Greg is the cutest expectant father. He texts me the cutest things throughout the day...

Greg: What are you doing?
Kayla: ...uh working.
Greg: What are the babies doing?
Kayla: Working too :)
Greg: It is not fair that you get to have the babies with you all the time.

AHH SO EXCITED!

I have been looking at maternity pictures and there are some really weird pictures. Greg was looking with me and said "I am not posing naked with the babies." hahaha If the first few months is this fun I can't imagine the rest.

Back to Reality

I love going on vacation, but it is always so hard to start the dreaded cycle of work over again. I sure missed my hubby, but it stinks knowing I'm not going to see my family for a while. We actually stayed in Georgia this time and explored Savannah and Tybee Island. We had lots of fun celebrating my Madre's birthday, eating lots of junk food, shopping, exploring Savannah, laying on the beach for the two hours it was sunny. Sadly the weather towards the end wasn't so great, but we improvised and had fun. We went to a couple touristy stores and found some very interesting gifts, lets just say I think I almost peed my pants from laughing so hard. Now it is over :( I guess now I just get to look forward to the next time I get to see them.
